I didn't read all the earlier posts but I get the story. Question: Why pull the motor for the oil leak? It could be something as "simple" as a cam seal leaking oil onto the alternator. If I were you, I'd have the car taken to a reputable shop for a complete diagnosis. After that make your decision depending on $ and whether or not you have a second ride. The $ are probably going to be in the $$$ range to have her running in good shape. If you have a second ride, keep the Z and get ready for a year of an interesting and enjoyable Z32 DIY project. That will cost you probably $$ when it's all done. If you don't have an alternate ride and $ is an issue, SELL.
